DOT Haz-Mat General Awareness Training
If you had a DOT audit today, would you be able to document your employees have had even the basic awareness training?
The DOT Haz-Mat regulations Part 172.700 requires all Haz-Mat employees to be trained in general awareness/familiarization of the Haz-Mat rules. In addition, there are other requirements that are company specific.
This training will cover the general awareness/familiarization of the Haz-Mat rules. Attendees will receive a wallet card indicating completion of the training. If attendees are planning to use this class to meet DOT training requirements, they will be offered the opportunity to complete a test. The test will take 45 to 60 minutes. If attendees pass the optional test, a certificate of completion will be provided for documentation in the event of DOT audits.
