Drug Awareness Program
Drug use by workers is a problem that impacts your business and community. What can you do about it?
The MSEA and Sisk & Company drug awareness program is designed for employers to help them recognize the signs of drug use and drug paraphernalia. If you are a safety manager, supervisor, operations manager or other office/field person that is responsible for operations, hiring of employees, compliance with contracts, and enforcement of your company drug and alcohol program, you will find this program beneficial.
The program is presented by Lynn Riemer, member of the North Metro Task Force. Lynn is a dynamic speaker with years of experience working to prevent drug use and eliminate the hazards created by clandestine meth labs and illegal drug use.
She will share her experience as it relates to:
- Overview of drug use/abuse
- Types of drugs frequently abused in the work setting
- Meth use and addiction and the signs to watch for
- Display of a typical meth lab
- What to look for in users
- Drug paraphernalia
- Meth lab recognition
